How can I apply to internships/placements more effectively if I am still at university and my experience level is still very new?

  • @Jo Marie Brent Thank you for your lovely reply, I have been wondering about creating external projects from the university but my course is so full on I do not even know when I can do this, I have been doing some social media descriptions/content to gain some experience but still trying to figure out how to showcase this on my Instagram portfolio.
    Thank you!
  • This is the perfect time for you to apply to internships and placements. The fact that you are still at uni/fresh graduate/fresh on the scene/junior and little experience makes you highly desirable to some. Use what you have and play it as your strength. Just apply, knock on doors, and say proudly and with energy when you're going to graduate... let them latch on to you before you go elsewhere. Most importantly though, do some creative projects of your own whilst still at uni that are not a part of your course. Being able to demontrate projects you got involved in off of your own accord shows you're one to watch out for and will set you apart from the rest. Don't worry about it being perfect. Just get involved in stuff.
