How difficult is it to crossover from music to corporate events? Any tips or directions towards reliable agencies or companies? Thanks
Hi, I am new here and keen to see what this lovely community is about. I have over 10 years background in event, mostly music related. Have been wearing many hats from venue production manager, event manager, promoter, festivals artist transport manager, stage crew, and as you would expect everything is very much on hold. While hopping for life to resume, this time stepping back allowed me to look further.

- @Thierry Schlicklin welcome and to be fair everything is changing super fast and learning new skills is a must to adapt - I started taking a course at The Media House for example, recommend that too and checking the virtual platforms available and doing trial plus watching their demos and training.
- @Pamela Benitez Hi Pamela. Thank you so much for your insights. This pandemic changed the dynamic all around. Skils in virtual events seems to be in every job offer I see, understandably key as you mentionned. I do have experience in AV and medias but the whole concept does require some practical learning, wich on its own shouldn't be too much of an issue but most offer I see tend to require years of experience, while the virus is only here for a few months. This is a new path for many leaving me a little underqualify on this particular point even tho all other expertise / skills are transfarable. I might need to look into courses I suppose. Will start with your youtube channel for now. Thank you for the link and for the agencies tips.
