I am about to approach 360 photography in order to build a virtual tour plus some service, connected with my 3D VIZ skills, any expert here?

  • I took some 360 in a friend's flat, I used the ricoh Theta V.Not impressive but good enough.
There were few lights since the electric system has to be fixed.
The good thing is that you can benefit of the long exposure settings.
The resolution is around 5500x2250 not that impressive.
I am now trying to understand how to fix some element in post using Photoshop and 3DS max.
I'm going to post something here as soon as I have amended the photos,
  • Minimal needs a tripod and photo stitching software. Lighting is important. So think atmosphere. And if there is external light then shoot quickly so shadows match up when stitching. There are camera systems with integrated software that do it all, too expensive. Not an expert either.
  • @Kenneth Archbold Hi Kenneth, nice to meet you. What software/tools do you prefer, and what camera do you use?
Have you any experience with virtual tours? what are the clients asking more when you take 360 photos.
Is it actually 360 photos replacing the classic interior photos?
