I'd love some feedback on my website! https://www.artbysmackjack.com/illustration

I've been adding some new art to my website and would appreciate any feedback.

At the moment, it doesn't contain any work I create at my 9-5 as a VR designer. I wanted to keep the website as simple as possible as it contains my personal work and my shop. I've had recruiters look at it in the past and have been a bit confused by the two disciplines displayed front and centre.

I'd be open to any advice in how to structure this in a simple format if it makes sense to add 3D/VR work in there.

I think most of all, I'd appreciate any feedback from some industry professionals!

  • @Glen Paul Mendes Thanks for the very kind words! I'd love to create portrait art full time, I think it's definitely my strength amongst my other skills. The VR work pays the bills at the moment so I'm trying to spark a balance between the both. It's definitely something I'll keep working towards to make it my full time career. I appreciate you taking the time to look at my work, thanks for the advice!!
  • Your web site graff illustrations are brilliant and exciting, my advice would be a compleate change in approach and purpose your strength is in portaiture and in a street style which everyone loves, ditch the IT stuff focus on painting and try live action painting show what you do and then produce limited edition prints...I am sure you will sell/
