I seek short video submissions required from early stage, mid-career and established creatives and performers.

Question

If you have a smart phone and a spare 10 minutes, then you can do this!

I am seeking creative input from creatives or performer, or individuals who have a creative and performance background.

You will be at one of three peaks of your career:  Early/starting, Mid-career/evolving or changing, or at the latter end of their career, established and reflective.

I ask contributors to submit a piece to camera (a talking head).  You have full creative freedom - stripped back or bells & whistles.

You can use any suitable recording format, mobile phone, webcam or push the boat out full production with fx!

Above all else I want authentic, and representative voices across the broad creative spectrum.

Your answers should be no longer than 8 minutes and all contributors will be asked to consider, and answer, some, or all of the following questions.  Preferably all.

What is your name ?
What stage of your career are you at?
How much is planned, hard work, or good luck?
Tell me about your current role(s)
What do you most like about your work?
What do you least like?
How important is creativity in your role and what other skills have you had to learn?
How has covid impacted you (personally and professionally) and what are your expectations for the future?
If you could go back to any younger version of yourself, what advice would you give?

We will then use the short vignettes as a learning resource, and as an opportunity to create discussion.  In January 2021 we will invite students and a selection of contributors to a round table discussion.
