I've been taking part in Inktober, has anyone else taken part or know of any other challenges that are fun?
Looking to see what other people's inktobers look like and if anyone has any other challenges they are planning on taking part in. I've loved doing my inktober and want to keep doing some challenges to keep me drawing daily and have some creative breaks from other commitments.
I have been posting mine on my instagram account @joseph_artanddesign

- @Marissa Bender Thanks so much for your reply, I'll be sure to check out the challenges in the link you've sent!
- There are tons of fun art challenges online! I've discovered quite a few through this list here (which lists all kinds of art challenges not just drawing challenges): https://www.wikiwrimo.org/wiki/List_of_timed_artistic_challenges This calendar of monthly challenges that Brush Warriors made is handy too: https://brushwarriors.com/monthly-art-challenges/So far, I've only participated in Sketchtember, which is a lot like Inktober except it's all about sketching in September. Some of the most popular challenges I've seen shared online that you might be interested in include: Huevember (November; 1 drawing a day, any medium, based on a hue prompt list), Drawcember (December; 1 drawing a day), Mer-May (May; 1 mermaid drawing a day), Kaijune (June; 1 monster drawing a day), and Smaugust (August; 1 dragon drawing a day). These are only a handful of the challenges that are out there though! Monthly prompts are so fun that artists frequently start new challenges and share their prompts around social media. It's pretty easy to start your own too if you have a theme idea, 30 or so prompts, and some friends that want to join in!
