LOOKING FOR A SELF SHOOTING DOP FOR LOW BUDGET INDIE MUSIC VIDEO
We are searching for an artistic and talented cinematographer to join our small crew for a one-day music video shoot in early November (exact date TBC). This is a low-budget production, so the ideal candidate will have experience self-shooting and making the most of available resources.
The video will have an intimate, nostalgic aesthetic realized through black-and-white footage with pinkish hues. Your cinematography will help bring to life a nonlinear narrative about two passionate lovers caught between reality and dreams. We are prioritizing an emotive, romantic style over polished perfection.
Responsibilities:
- Shoot handheld/self-operated footage with actor POV in mind
- Collaborate with director on framing, camera movement, and shot lists
- Work with available lighting equipment to achieve desired atmosphere
- Manage media and provide dailies/footage for review
Requirements:
- Own a camera package suited for this project's visual style
- Experience with shooting romantic/emotional narratives
- Ability to adapt and problem-solve on a short timeline
- Comfortable filming sensual/affectionate scenes
