    Hello Nadia hope you are fine.
    My name is Mercedes Ibarguren. I am a kid fashion designer and illustrator from Argentina with 18 years of experience working for the major childrenswear company in Argentina , Mimo & Co . (www.mimo.com.ar).
    Also I am working for the women´s market too.

    As a senior kids designer I was in charge of designing the complete collection for kids from 2 to 8 years old as well as preteens from 8-16 years old.
    In the company we had WGSN fashion services as well as I used to travel to Pitti Bimbo on many occasions to research fashion trends.
    Actually, as a freelance designer I get my inspiration from e –commerce brands, instagram, pinterest, fashion blogs and digital fashion magazines.
    The Argentinian style is very similar to European designer  brands mixed with some USA commercial items.
    For the design process I like to create mood boards with pictures, illustrations and prints adding some suggestion of fabrics for tops or bottoms.
    The mood board has also a color pallete suggested in the board with Pantone references.
    In a  capsule collection I also do allover designs , embroideries and print placements .
    Proficient at Illustrator and Photoshop.
