OPPORTUNITY: I am looking for a voluntary writer/editor who is seeking experience in being at the forefront of a music and culture magazine

At the Ubunifu Space, we have built a platform that showcases exciting new talent coming from the African continent and the diaspora. We have seen over the last few years the rise of genres within Africa which now have global appeal. This includes genres like Afrobeats, Amapiano, Kaduro and more. We have amassed a total of 321K subscribers in that time, through reacting to and reviewing music on YouTube.

We now want to expand our platform, to create a music and culture magazine dedicated showcasing more than just music. Africa contains a wealth of talent, and that coincides with unique scenes ranging from sound, photography to fashion. We want to build a section of the platform that fascilitates various forms of written peices, whether short form, interviews or longer form think pieces. We want somebody who is well versed in and has a significant interest in music, to begin this journey with us!

We can offer:
- Access to top artists and content creators from within the African continent and diaspora to create content e.g. interviews
- Guest list/VIP entry to shows, listening parties, album launches and music festivals of associated artists for content purposes
- A platform of 10K followers on Twitter, 17K followers on Instagram and 321K subscribers on YouTube to showcase written work and build a portfolio
