Retail field Visual Merchandiser to e-commerce Visual merchandising

Question

Good afternoon, I have worked many years in retail as a visual merchandiser and would love to steer my career into the direction of digital / online visual merchandising.

Without having prior e-commerce /online experience, are there other skills I could obtain that will help broaden my horizons to be considered for such opportunities ?

Are there courses available I could do whilst still working full-time? Or I could study e-commerce platforms such as Magento etc?

Would love some advice from you all!
