Sculptor Job (Must be London based / close to London)

Hi there!

We’re looking to commission a female sculptor to recreate a female version of the George and the Dragon statue for International Women’s Day (8th March). The fresh female take of the stereotypically masculine symbol is part of a charity campaign to challenge stereotypes, and will be named ‘Georgina and the Dragon’,    
 
Putting a modern twist on George and the Dragon, we’d like the statue to feature a girl rearing on a bike (See image below) with the dragon beneath her VS the historic image of George on a horse with a sword.
 
Please see below for key considerations, incl. the creation turnaround of 4 weeks.

A few key considerations -

•	Timeline: 
    o	w/c 16th Jan – briefing 
    o	w/c 23rd Jan – design sign off 
    o	30th Jan – 28th Feb – statue to be created 
    o	8th March – to be launched in an outside location 
    o	9th March onwards – to be toured around the UK 
•	Materials – to be cheap / easy and lightweight 
•	Statue – made of the charity’s badges
•	Size – true to real life vs large statues found in public spaces
