Struggling to land clients..
Hi all!
I'm a graphic designer, and I'm struggling to land clients.
I have been doing design for years, but only done it "professionally" after losing my regular job (project management in web dev) due to COVID.
A career in design (along with being my own boss) has always been the dream, so I decided to take a punt at freelancing.
However, finding and landing clients seems to be my biggest issue. I have landed, and completed, a number of tiny one-off projects - but I cannot land anything even close to a "real" freelance contract.
Do you have any tips? Is this just the market at the moment? Should I ditch the self-employment dream until I have more professional design experience?
