Today is the Feast Day of the patron saint of artists - Saint Luke.
Today is the Feast Day of the patron saint of artists - Saint Luke. As well as being the patron saint of Artists Saint Luke is also considered to be the patron saint of Physicians. Artists add many things to life from utter joy through to helping us see things from another angle - in my view the skill of the Artist is as essential to life as the skills of a Physician. The Artist feeds the soul and the mind through creativity. The Physician does the same through medical science. Therefore today I say thank you to @Pip Jamieson for founding this wonderful community of creatives so that we can all share in the essential value of creativity.
