Trying to model and render Fibre Optic lights in blender and am struggling on how to approach it - anyone able to lend a hand?

I have basic knowledge of Blender and Rhino but am struggling with the approach I should take to model my design. I would appreciate any advice/skillswap/skillshare. Alternatively I could pay a small fee if anyone is looking for freelance work?

Thank you!

Charlotte

  • Hi,
I am 3dsmax user , but found a tutorial this might help for shader.

you can just draw some arc shaped lines and then make it pipe, then extract the cap of the these pipes and assign a emissive shader:)
