Using Public Speaking to Advance Your Career

Although I now devote a large chunk of time to giving talks and delivering presentations in front of audiences, I haven't always been comfortable with public speaking. In fact, I was rather shy as a child growing up, and I never liked being in front of crowds growing up. 
I had a chance to share my journey to become a professional  speaker with Tom Bailey on his Succeed Through Speaking podcast. During our chat, I reveal some of the early stumbles I had as a public speaker, how effective public speaking eventually became core to my career, and the lessons I've learned along the way.
