What is possible industry/companies that I should apply for if I want to work on motion graphics to best use my architectural background?

Hi all!

As the title reveals, I am an architect, and I have a 5-year degree and 3 years of working experience in architecture. I have always had a great interest in graphics and animation tools, and I always try to experiment down to that way.

At this point, I feel that I really want to make a switch to that field professionally, but I suffer from the insecurity and second thoughts of leaving what I have built so far. Nevertheless, I find so much content online that I believe it is standing on the edge of architecture and motion design, similar to the ones I am attaching.

But the truth is that most of these people are freelancers which is not really the way I would go for now. So my question would be, what is the best way to move towards working on motion graphics without completely losing my architectural background? what type of industry/companies should I look for? (and therefore build a portfolio for?)
