The future is not like before !!

The aim of creating a design is to draw attention to the question of; ” Why there is an excessively increasing over production which leads unconscious and excessive consumption.”
Thanks to Istanbul urban development, the number of people who join the activities of design and art have been increasing. But the question is whether this increase reaches a meaningful aim with the effect of technological developments or creates a chaos between place, people and objects by confusing the minds of people with the effect of excessive commercialization of the acts and needs day by day. Whether the term “act” has the same meaning for people now as before? Whether this “acts” will exist in the future?
Will this kind of ordinary “acts” be exist as “designs”.
There is an outstanding complex relationship between designs, art objects and people.
Designs give an impression that there is no link or a dialog between this design and people but it is a design which is created just for a reason. This impression exists because of excessive commercialization of the acts and designs. This situation disturb only minority of people and lead them to question all existing structure. Majority of people describe or understand the art in a very wrong way. That is why we witness similar objects created for the commercial aims.
The idea behind creating a design and the aim of doing it should be to convince people and raise a public opinion that a design exists for acts of the people and for the sake of peoples’ actions which is not the case in our world now. As a result we see only objects which have no link with the life and cannot be named as “design”. Some, generally try to discriminate, classificate and identify designs instead of trying to understand and give a meaning consumption societies who are tend to to them. This is because of the influence of the wrong impression existing in public about design. As a result we see that “branding” efforts exceeds to make a desing which should create a link or make a dialog between acts of people and design. This is because of the excessive increase in the technological developments which causes consumpt more and more without questioning.
Should we question identifications, brands or needs and acts of people ?
Should a design lead people to think and question?
Perceptions have been changing and becoming difficult to be changed. Everything which is commercialized becomes superficial or facile at the end and does not disappear but creates meaningless masses that never do think or question. This masses preventing people to inspire from the past. Instead of acting and doing actions, creating relations and Taking Istanbul as an example, future is such a throw covering the past. There is nothing disappeared but only making communications, commercialization alienates and individualizes people and this makes them consume more and more. Cities are becoming areas in which people have artificial relations and communications.
The main concern should be making people question their actions and making actions as a result of questioning at the end and creating a new future which is not shading but sensing the past…
