2022 - A SUMMARY

2022 has been a big big year, hopefully more of the same in 2023 but less stress lol!! ♥️ I’ve worked with some insane brands, talented creatives and beautiful souls this year and hope to have that all again in the new year �  First award with D&AD New Blood Portfolio Winner 2022, funding with Getty Images’s iStock x Creative Access, for my project, Not Just Brown, Not Just Indian 8 exhibitions; had my work featured in a published book and 2 billboards in London Bridge and Tottenham Court Road; 10 podcasts, talks and presentation with really amazing spaces, places and on zoom! And more that 25 publications/ features, all during my first year freelancing in photography/ production industry which is a whole other journey.

Freelancing has been the most unexpected part of my creative career, I really thought I would be that person who thrives in a 9-5 but currently freelancing has given me the chance to go beyond photography/ photography assisting to working on some commercial set/ art assisting to learning more about production. Working in production has been a massive learning curve (at the start of the year I didn’t even know it was a thing), it is what has led me to work some incredible female photographers this year to produce my first two commercial shoots and hopefully will be growing this side of me more in 2023 💫

There’s so many insanely supportive people, companies, platforms that have supported me and given me space to grow in the industry I’m so grateful to have and work with this past year, but those who know me, know I have a memory of a fish but you know who you are. 🥺♥️
