Each year I research relatively unknown contributers of Black History and share with my audience. This year I decided to do a drawing everyday on my commute on my iPad and post on social network. I share what I've researched and try to make the post inclusive so that everyone can learn something about these amazing people. I've found out about important people who have contributed to the civil rights movement, those who have been first in their fields—from the first artic explorer and first television interracial kiss of african descent, etc. More of these can be seen on my @commuteartist account.
