40 thieves

During the Summer 2024, I have created an illustrated book of 32 pages. There are two fairy tales and a local short story from where I was living, in the Jura of Switzerland. The first two tales come from the book "1000 ans de contes", the book I was used to reading when I was a child. You might already have heard about Ali Baba and the 40 Thieves, which is usually well known. The cave discovered by Ali is full of treasures. Then, the greediness of his brother Kassim which caused his death. The second story is about a prince transformed into a crow, who can only be delivered from this evil spell by a young lady. The last story, which tells the fight between a man and a bear, is very interesting too. I have tried to add my drawing next to the text, where the situations were the most inspiring. I hope you will enjoy this project !
