A Chance Encounter for PETRIe Inventory

  • Sophia Weston
The story of two strangers, 'A Chance Encounter' follows isolated protagonists through a series of incidental meetings. Although inconsequential at first, the two gradually form a relationship as their chance passings become an expected routine.

Influenced by the disorientated character of Charlotte in Sofia Coppola’s 2003 film 'Lost in Translation', I wanted to investigate fleeting intimate moments of connection we sometimes experience with strangers.
