A Conversation

  • Justine Acheampong

This painting characterises womanhood and introspection. In this painting a woman has a conversation with her inner self. The inner self is portrayed as a large, god like being. As the viewer can see, she is in tune with the waterfall and greenery behind her. This symbolises a woman's connection with nature. The inner self is bigger, clothed in a white dress showing self confidence and self assurance, while the physical body is smaller and naked symbolising a lack as compared to the inner self.
