A fully bespoke brand design for a boutique wedding florist

  • Jon Quayle

Lucinda Wild Floristry are a boutique florist providing services for weddings, events and occasions throughout Sussex.

The owner of Lucinda Wild approached me to help expand on her vision that she had for her brand. Focusing on weddings and more momentous life events the brand had to convey elegance and a sense of luxury and appeal to a more upmarket audience. Another offering of the business is hand crafted and delivered bouquets and smaller arrangements so ideally the brand had to straddle the elegance and luxury of a wedding and event supplier, but also be seen as fresh, stylish and an approachable brand to the everyday audience who are after high quality floristry.

Approachable elegance

After initial discussions on the direction the brand should head in I got down to designing initial concepts. Elegant illustrations combined with a refined but varied colour palette and fresh typography stood out as a winning combination.

Through a collaborative approach refinements were made throughout the entire concept, until we had distilled the brand down to its core values, representing these across a variety of applications in what can only be described a high quality, boutique but approachable brand who I very much look forward to working with again on future projects.

A fully bespoke brand design

The brand was designed and considered with every possible application for Lucinda Wild. The variety of colour in the palette gives elements a slightly different feel and hierarchy depending on the application and audience. We went for a richer, more luxurious aesthetic for the larger wedding and events side of the business and a slightly lighter aesthetic for more the everyday floristry requirements.

The logo was applied to ribbons, stickers, care cards for the larger arrangements. Aqua boxes and bouquet wrapping is adorned with the bespoke pattern - available in a number of colour combinations. Every element was considered in both print and digital format in preparation for their upcoming website.
