A new brand for PLAYRMAKR, to redefine mobile sports gaming

PLAYRMAKR is levelling up an entire industry by reinventing the genre of mobile sports gaming. Challenging the status quo, they’re bringing the pros to the people and democratising the field. Led by professional footballers and agents, they’re tapping into their fan base and creating a global community at a time when the sports landscape changing and the entertainment industry being disrupted. What they needed was a brand that cut through and was as groundbreaking as the product itself. An energetic, bold and daring identity that challenged the rules and was as exciting as the beautiful game itself. We developed the name ‘PLAYRMAKR’ as a clear reference to sport, removing the ‘e’ to add dynamism and a sense of speed. The distinctly energetic and futuristic typographic style of the logotype is evocative of both sports and technology. The colour palette is reflective of the spirit of the brand and uses colour in a bold, daring, unapologetic way. The fluro green accent instantly adds excitement when used with the primary colours, whereas the colourful gradients add character and help communicate team colours.
