A Sense Of Place

My A-level studies were a great opportunity to explore a subject that I felt passionate and excited about. Northumberland being close to my heart was the obvious choice. Having spent every summer up there as a child, with cousins and family alike, we were surrounded by such a beautiful backdrop. The wild, unspoilt expanses of the beach countered by the wild and rugged Scottish foothills, are an inspiration to any artist. Through this project I explored colour, texture and a range of media, drawing inspiration from many artists to create a multimedia portfolio alongside a final fashion garment.
