A Sense of Place

  • Rosina Gavin

A ‘Sense of Place’ is a collection of interior textiles printed on hemp and linen, crops which are grown with little harm to the environment; both are long lasting and biodegradable. Inspired by the rural landscape of Fettercairn in Aberdeenshire, the designs are mostly hand printed onto organic (GOTS) hemp providing quality, traceability and durability; others are digitally printed onto unbleached linen also reducing environmental impact.
