A stone’s Dough is a Sourdough Bakery based in London. The family ran Bakery was born in 1932, and has been passed down generations, running almost a century from one (huge) sourdough starter. The Local business, only a stone’s throw away, vowed to create all their bread from their great-grandma’s sourdough starter, from 1932. Stone’s Dough sell parts of their starter to customers to make their own sourdough, and hold ‘loaf nights’ to educate and teach locals about the sourdough process. I designed the logo with a rustic feel, and a casual typeface, to welcome all customers, and to not create a pretentious feeling. I wanted to create a family feel, and as this business has so much history, I felt that it shouldbe reflected in the branding, with a modern & quirky twist.
