Adieu, Julie (2018)

My first film, created in the third semester of film school, gathered readings on existentialism, nihilism, neo-realism and nouvelle vague. The film tells the story of Julie, a young woman who lives the hypothetical last day of her life and enters a state of deep reflection about herself, social policies, love, frivolous stories and of course, death. We managed to make important partnerships with hotels, restaurants for food and French schools (which helped us in the translation of the script) that believed in the film, this way we could manage to make it with few resources and almost no budget. This film was curated by MUBI and is part of their film platform collection, sometimes it comes back online during foreign shorts screenings.
