Advertising a school dance near Paris.

Build in 1970s by architect Jacques Kalisz, the building used to accomodate the administrative center of Pantin town. Typical of large institutional buildings built in the outskirt of Paris, the large building is composed of a facade of raw concrete. Pierre di Sciullo created the font “minimum” for the centre national de la danse. Mixing the dance feeling with the building style, the letters are square but dancing.
Jacques Kalisz and Pierre di Sciullo are famous architect and designer in France. I therefore decided to follow their style in my design. I hence opted for a mix between the building style: strict, heavy and square; the font design which is dancing but square and the dance feeling which is floating, moving and curvy.
