The Advertising Association promotes the rights, roles and responsibilities of advertising; bringing industry and policymakers together to make adland a better place. Every year, the Ad Pays series is released. This is research conducted by the Advertising Association and their partners, highlighting key trends within the sector each year.

The main objective was to showcase the digital adspend increase through the decades. With this in mind, we developed a look and feel that takes inspiration from the early years of online and digital advertising and merges it with the Advertising Association's modern brand identity.
We then created a 60 page publication, an animation that travels forward through time and a range of promotional assets to be released across social media platforms.
