The importance of this campaign was to exaggerate the effects of fast fashion and the damages it has done to the world and our environment. With luxury fashion brands slowly recognising the damages the industry has caused, I felt that the action they are taking is still not creating enough impact, especially with the continuous releases of aimless new collections every season. As the summer season is approaching, I thought it would be a perfect idea to display the beauty and life within our oceans and to promote and elevate the topic of conscious consumption by using the voice of a well known luxury brand.
