Age Mates is an upcoming web series about the UK university experience seen through the eyes of two Black males. Set in the fictional University of South London, the series follows the lives of Tendai, a highly focused Academic and his best friend Kwesi. A carefree wayward creative.
The series will tackle issues unique to Black British University students and Black British Millennial culture in general. These issues include: colourism, dating, career paths, pressure from family, fraud, beauty standards set by social media and many more issues while still having underlying themes that are universal.
