Airmen

Airmen, I was in the Air Force years ago. It's only recently I've begun to revisit this period in my life. There's something mystical about airmen, spiritual and deep. I spoke to a few pilots before they passed away, enjoyed their modest stories. I admire them greatly. Churchill knew the price they'd paid when he said, "Never was so much owed by so many to so few." I suppose I'm trying to say thanks to these brave few who paid a great price so that I can live in relative freedom.
