Aldi - Junior Baking Championship Cake

Every year Aldi and Foróige sponsor a Junior Baking Championship at the Ploughing Championship. 2019’s winner was 15 year old Caoinhe Hurley form Cork. Her winning cake will be stocked in Aldi stores for all of 2020. To reflect the velvety richness of the champion chocolate cake I was tasked with designing a pack that celebrates Caoinhe’s win. The pack is a rich dark purple and has gold foiling for the winning ribbon. This project had a fast turn around and involved use of my knowledge of print production project/client management. Reflecting the velvety Richness of Chocolate Cake, the girl requested us to use a dark purple. Gold foil for the winning ribbon Knowledge of print process / keylines.
