This is an immersive theatre design for THE VAULTS for celebrating the 150th Anniversary of the publication of Alice in the Wonderland by Lewis Carroll. It aimed to offer audiences an experience of falling down the rabbit hole and exploring Wonderland for themselves.
I designed for the Red Boarder Control room where the audience will need to verify by the guards by passing through this intense red room to gain further entrance to the Wonderland.
The audience having been spilt up will have to gain further entrance to wonderland through Boarder Control. At red boarder control the audience will pass through an intense red installation where walls, floor and ceiling merge. The optical illusion pattern was one of the main elements to bring the audience the unrealistic and dizziness feeling.
