All Rites - Podcast Pilot on European Traditions

I have been working on a podcast with a team across Europe. We have received funding from the the Brussels based, AreWeEurope and our team was assembled as a part of a funding round. Our kickstarter funding has created this show called All Rites (working title). A podcast series that will report on tradition across Europe that perhaps don’t align to contemporary values and how ask how can they or should they? Our pilot episode is a Chirstmas special looking at the Basque region and at their own Christmas figure, Olentzero. During one of our zoom meetings, one of our team members found our that, when her mother was a child, she didn’t celebrate because of its basque separatist associations.
