ALPHABETICAL IDENTITES

  • Charlotte Knapp

Through qualitative and quantitative research techniques, participants and individuals share their formative perceptions of the alphabet. All letterforms have individual characteristics and traits that identify them, and these letterforms personalities and been formulated based on the results of participants. Individuals were asked to give their perceptions on all of the letterforms in the alphabet. The letterforms characteristics were based on the five senses, to help people identify these letterforms. Not only can you see the letters, but you can also imagine their smell, taste, feel and what they sound like.

Using the five senses, participants when describing letterforms created personalities for each of the letterform.

This book features the alphabets multiple identities.
This project stemmed from my final major project, from developing my final major project I branched off, and created the Alphabetical Identites.
