Alphabettie: The Letter Detective

I created this conceptual project during my final year at the University of Central Lancashire, studying illustration BA (Hons). My project focuses on three different character's that each aim to provide an individual narrative in book form, that has the purpose of being educational and aesthetically appealing. I sought out an alphabetical narrative as the concept for my project, designing a collection of book covers that could each be associated with the letters A,B and C. Using word play for my narrative,I put together spreads with objects that began with A to create a nonsensical, unique narrative that can be read without words, only having a visual narrative.
