Alyssa Boni

Alyssa Boni, born in LA – raised in London, is an award winning, concept driven photographer specialising in fashion, accessories and still life.

Her interest in the bold and the abstract started with her love of comic books and the meticulously depicted worlds of science fiction’s greatest authors.

This passion for the illustrative lead her to study graphic design at the London College of Communication. Following on from here she completed her BA in photography at Middlesex University where she focused on fine art, culminating in her dissertation on the works of Lynne Cohen; which is currently being held in the library of Canada’s National Gallery, at the artist’s request.

Alyssa entered the photographic industry assisting and learning from established advertising photographers and the early stages of her career saw her win the John Walker Prize for outstanding achievement, as well as being shortlisted for the Shoreditch Studio Sponsorship Awards and the AOP Assistant Awards.

Alyssa was then taken on by Kurt Geiger to establish an in-house photography division at their London headquarters. She created and managed the photography department, supervised and photographed fashion shoots and wrote the protocol and workflow of the company’s approach to photographing its products.

Upon leaving Kurt Geiger to pursue her freelance career, her adaptive nature has lead her to work with widely varying brands from Another 8 and Liberty to a recent fashion TV commercial for Marks & Spencer. Alyssa’s work has featured in Vogue UK, Company, Stylist and Schon magazines establishing her as an artist of brilliant skill and vision.
