AM720 Testing & Ideation

Client: Nike London Service: Product testing & Ideation Date: April - May 2017


Nike needed insights to gain a foothold for their new Air Max model amongst London youth. As well as qualifying and understanding reactions to the new shoe, ON ROAD were tasked with building the brand's understanding of where the 720 could fit into their lives, how they consume content and a deep dive into the role of brands in their lives.


Our insights helped shape the final campaign, With Newham based artist J Hus figureheading the AM270, the model first appeared in the Nothing Beats A Londoner advert. With a follow up editorial in Clash magazine and several key placements helping to fuel the success, the 270 was an instant hit amongst young Londoners.
