Amarra Journal

Launching in 2021, Amarra is an online journal celebrating arts & culture in the East of England, founded by local husband and wife team, Chris and Laura. We don’t know about you, but for a while now we’ve felt totally overwhelmed by a deluge of information. Most of the content is the same, and a great deal of it isn’t crafted very well, either. So, whilst a strange move for a publication, we’ve decided to take a step back and take our time. We’re adopting a slower approach to journalism, by indulging in rich conversation with each of our collaborators, in order to create high quality, contemplative features. Our aim is to share the irrepressible passion and creativity of exciting, regional practitioners with you; from artists, poets, and musicians, through to fashion designers, potters, chefs and ecologists.
