Wednesday 26th to Friday 28th February 2020 at An Arrayed Futurity, an extension to Marie-Solange's Residency Programme Presentation at @lcclondon Marie-Solange Ndeley’s work threads a stronger connection between cinematic pioneers (‘Torch Bearers’) & contemporary filmmakers, artists and thinkers (‘Vanguard Children’) in order to explore futuristic technologies & methodologies across the discipline. By consciously appraising and recognising ‘Torch Bearers’ and ‘Vanguard Children’ in the progression of Black British cinematics, the work provides an alternative reflection on discourses which could expand aspirations, consciousness and currency in Black British Arts.
