Creative Challenge: Produce a guide to Britain’s wildflowers through aesthetics.
Using styles from the Arts and Crafts movement, the aim is to exploit typographic elements and celebrate the true art of hand lettering using research from both original manuscripts and contemporary work. Focusing on print media, the deliverables should suit the touch-points and engage with the audience with bold artwork.
The outcomes for the project are aimed at a young, contemporary audience interested in nature and plant identification. The style and tone reflects the style of those that have a love for vintage design and artistic styles.
