Analog Journeys is a collection of film photographs taken across the globe, reflecting emotions and experiences there; a travel log, a chronicle of the migrant experience, a view through the lens of a foreigner both at home and away. One year after the Maidan Revolution, I travelled home to Ukraine and spent a month documenting my homeland. Originally intended to be a photobook, the project outgrew this format when I decided to extend it beyond Ukraine’s borders. I designed and coded the site as a travel journal and photography showcase that originally focused only on one trip, but grew as I travelled more.Future plans include turning the home page into an interactive world map which is used to navigate between locations.
