This photoshoot was one of my favorite bodies of work. When going back to my home country during Covid I was reminded of the state of queer politics as well as the non-progressiveness of gender identity. I became very inspired by individuals who tested traditional gender norms and begun the process of making this amazing shoot with the people who inspired me.
