Another Surf Camp Ad Spots

Now I had surfed a total of 30 minutes up to the point I found myself in my final days in northern Portgual spontaneously deciding to take a bus hours down the coast to a surftown not far from where 8- story-tall waves have been surfed. But this was a wonderous 2018 Summer. I was there alone, my first time doing so traveling in Europe so I was eager to make friends. I phoned the hostel we were planning to stay at, embellishing my abilities as a global storyteller offering to exchange creative content services for a bed and a surfboard. Somehow it worked and this series of commercials developed with new friends were a result of this journey. I knew right off the bat that our male lead had a personality of an upcoming cultural comedic icon, so naturally our series of stories were crafted around this. Directly relating visuals with our surf camp client - we found humor in the journey of the tenderfoot surfer learning the ropes of this mystical craft. The not so glamorous side of this endeavor was our focus because let’s face it, no one knows what the f*ck they’re doing when they first start out surfing. We’re used to seeing beautiful, greenish-blue waves barreling toward the shore while a tiny dot shreds the gnarm majestically skimming out of the end of the tube with an overwhelming sensation of exhilaration, lightness, and humility. The irony of trying to be unique as a surf camp while you have nothing more separating you from the competition than perhaps your bunk bed’s thread count and shade of your surf instructors’ tans, this is yet, Another Surf Camp.
