Archangel S/S 21

The collection offers a variation of related, high-end evening wear styles. Inspiration was taken from the idea of contortion, which offers diversity in reasearch. Starting with physical human form, moving towards more structured architectural forms. Main features consistent throughout the collection include the strong curve present in the vamp and for some the heel. Materials include calf leathers uppers and binding with plush suede linings. Contrasting gold and silver details compliment the leather, each shoe with branded gold label inserted on the rear of the sock. The shoe names (top left to bottom right) are Raphiel, Uriel, Jegudiel, Selaphiel and Barachiel. These are names of 5 archangels, as the contorted curves, particularly the ankle cuff styles and the heel rings with hints of gold ressemble the halo of an angel.
