"Archeo_Deep,"

  • Debra Pollarini

The series, "Archeo_Deep," consists of analogue photographs of landscapes, sounds, and starscapes, taken with 35mm in North England. Explores the materiality of everyday, ancient landscape while reflecting on the relationship we have with the sky, stars, the natural world and the built environment. I am exploring the materiality and I work mainly with natural develops, ( i.e. Algae, coffenoll) Participating with the proposal n.1 would allow me to share and contribute to people's fascination with experimental photography and ecological imaginaries. The audience is engaged by understandings the inner of "ancestral" places and proposing a rite of liberation towards the recovery of a disintegrated and disconnected self. All images are in 80X80 cm (analog 35mm) printed in fine linen paper at UAL darkroom department. If the space cannot accommodate the whole series, a selection can be made.
