Archiscape Magazine & Website

  • Cecilia Fraticelli

ArchiScape is a magazine that intends to spread the knowledge on the most interesting and fascinating contemporary architectural pieces built all over the world. It keeps the reader up-to-date with the new architecture and styles which have been developing in the last years. Each edition has a different theme such as cultural spaces, housing, offices and administrative buildings, landscape and urban renovation. Each page was designed in order to have a similar aesthetic yet unique layout, which is guided by the available images and length of the text. I have created the magazine design, layout and a dummy for a University project.

ARCHISCAPE WEBSITE
I created a blog for the ArchiScape magazine, where a selection of articles is published. It was made in order to give the viewers a taste of the magazine without revealing too much, to entice them to buy it. The layout is simple and clear. The latest articles are featured in the main page and the older ones can be found in the editions page where they are divided in topics to make the navigation easier and more enjoyable to the user. The logo was changed in order to adapt to the blog layout, therefore in the navigation bar it can be seen all in one line, instead of divided in two as in the magazine.
