Artist in Residency at Birmingham City Uni Parkside Print-room

During my time as the Artist in Resident in the Parkside Print-room, Birmingham City University, I undertook a project revolving around my travels to China and Japan through the medium of screen printing. Throughout my time in China and Japan, I learnt about the intricate and deeply routed cultural significances of items, flowers and deities that lace through Chinese and Japanese culture respectively, both today in their modern society and historically. I wanted to reflect the deep love and beauty of this throughout my project.
